First Responders Program

Wish Recovery, located in Northridge, provides high quality luxury addiction treatment. Their treatment approach is based on the 3 phases of addiction treatment: detox (medical), psychotherapy (counseling) and after-treatment care (social work). Wish Recovery offers detox services and an inpatient, or residential, program. They also have a specialized First Responders program, which strives to care for our first responders who may be more likely to have witnessed traumatic events due to their occupation. They tailor this plan specifically to help doctors, fire fighters, veterans, and more. Some of their treatments in these programs include individual and group therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing (MI), and trauma-based therapy.

Holistic Therapies

Wish Recovery additionally incorporates holistic practices into their treatment schedules to create a well-rounded plan for their clients. These include mindfulness practices, experiential therapy, like wilderness therapy and music therapy, and hypnotherapy. Wish Recovery also values involving their patients’ loved ones in the recovery process, so they offer multi-family therapy and couples therapy, as well. The goal of their treatment plan is to learn skills and methods for lifelong and successful sobriety. All this is done at their beautiful Southern California facility which includes a movie theater, miniature golf course, and outdoor pool. Wish Recovery accepts many types of private insurance and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
