At Vantage Point, we specialize in the treatment of Anxiety, OCD, Eating Disorders, LGBTOIQ clients, Psychological Assessment and Trauma. Though each of our specialists is unique in her approach, we are all grounded in the belief that connection is an integral part of the healing process. We value compassion, equality, sincerity, and the belief that all individuals have it within themselves to grow and heal from whatever challenge that brings a person into therapy. We also know that collaboration is extremely important and as such, we work closely with our clients to understand and empower them to meet their goals. Our approach to therapy is holistic and integrative. We customize our treatment methods to meet the unique needs, presenting issue, and personality of each client. Research has shown that certain treatments are empirically supported for different disorders, therefore, we integrate the treatments that are most effective (i.e., ERP, CBT, ACT) into our comprehensive plans. We acknowledge that a person’s history, environment, culture, and family of origin can influence a person’s current state and exploring this history can be an important part of the healing process.
We also provide testing and evaluation for ADHD, Learning Disabilities, psychological and personality.
