Founded in 2008, Seasons in Malibu has multiple locations in the Malibu and Los Angeles area. It has been featured in Newsweek and The New York Times and has been named one of the world’s premier rehab facilities by Consumer Affairs.
They treat substance abuse along with mental disorders like depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, sex addiction, and more. They mainly focuses on their clients by offering up to 65 one-on-one therapy sessions per month with their masters and doctorate level counselors. They examine the underlying issues, dynamic and environmental factors that might contribute to one’s substance abuse or the mental health issues.
Seasons in Malibu is Non 12-Step and evidence-based in treatment approach and they offer an executive professional program, as well as a trauma-informed care track. They accept most PPO insurance plans. Seasons in Malibu is CARF accredited, LegitScript certified, and a member of NAATP.
Seasons in Malibu offers a luxurious facility with gorgeous ocean views, large bedrooms, private large bathrooms and gourmet, Le Cordon Bleu-chef-prepared meals. This location overlooks El Matador State Beach and sets on 3 acres with access to the beach.
While at Seasons in Malibu, the guest will have access to holistic activities which may include yoga, kayaking, equine therapy, nutrition therapy, art therapy, massage, acupuncture, and access to a private full gym. Seasons in Malibu believes that a large part of long-term sobriety is not cutting oneself off from the world and that a support system is important.
They offer WiFi throughout the facility and the guest may bring a cell phone or laptop that will be given back to the guest after 3 to 5 days of stability. Founder and CEO Don Varden’s mission is to provide quality treatment to those who need it without sacrificing life’s luxuries.
