Description
River City Recovery Center is a non-profit recovery program that was founded in 1964. We offer residential treatment for both men and women. We also offer sober living for men and women transitioning back into society. Here we have a dedicated team working on your behalf. All of our counselors have gone through residential treatment themselves and 90% are graduates of the River City Recovery Center program. They know the fear, as you walk in the door and the freedom that comes from successful recovery. Residents attend group classes daily and receive weekly individual counseling. Many people with a substance use disorder also have associated issues, such as anxiety, depression or trauma-related problems. Because of this, we ensure that you have personnel onsite 24 hours a day who are trained in crisis intervention. Our mission here at River City Recovery Center is to improve the lives we touch and help you light your path to recovery.
River City Recovery is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services. It holds the following licensing:
Starlight: License # 340002BN, expires 11/30/2022
Altua: License # 340002AN, expires 7/31/2024
Our staff are well-trained, experienced and caring. All counselors meet requirements set forth in the Alcohol and Drug Counselor Regulations adopted by the State and engage in continuing education throughout the year. Members of the staff hold certificates from a variety of authorized certifying organizations, such as, CARR, CCAPP, Breining, etc.
All River City Recovery employees are in recovery themselves. And we all strive to help men and women return back to society.
