Welcome to Mental Health Center of San Diego (MHC)
At MHC we offer an extensive treatment program that consists of stabilization and intensive treatment for all mental health needs. Our program is dedicated to provide a full continuum of care from our residential property to our outpatient supportive living environment houses, which includes our partial hospitalization program (PHP) and our intensive outpatient program (IOP). We are pleased to offer individualized treatment plans to develop and to assist our patients in transitioning to outpatient and community services. We offer a multidisciplinary approach that includes our evidence-based Seeking-safety, EMDR services, group therapy, family sessions, assessment and evaluation, therapeutic recreational therapies, coping skills, life skills, stress management, symptom management, medication management, education towards gaining insight on diagnosis, and individualized one on one therapy and case management sessions.

Our facilities were designed to provide a warm, caring, comfortable and safe environment for all of our residents to feel as if they are at home. Our highly trained and experienced staff includes Doctors, Physiatrists, Nurses, Therapists, Case Managers, and 24 Hour staffing along with our dedicated administration who are committed to providing a safe environment and the highest quality of care in meeting behavioral health needs. We take pride in the importance of treating your loved ones not only as a patient but as a beloved family member and as a guest in our home.
