Description
McIntyre House offers a unique, challenging and highly effective rehabilitative experience for men seeking recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. Set in a safe, stable and supportive home-like environment, we are committed to providing each client with the very best opportunity for personal growth and recovery.
Our program of activities includes one-on-one sessions, house meetings and focus-groups, designed to ensure that each client acquires the tools necessary for maintaining long-term sobriety. Active 12-Step involvement and support group networking are also an integral part of the McIntyre House experience.
By gradually advancing through our program, internalizing the recovery process and establishing a strong support group, our clients are well positioned to lead productive and drug-free lives.

The House
McIntyre House is a clean and spacious 5,000 square foot townhouse. Our clients enjoy comfortable two-man rooms and many amenities including:
- Community entertainment room
- Full laundry facilities
- Outdoor workout area
- Recovery garden
- On-site computers and internet access
Program enrollment includes three meals daily with a family-style supper.
We are centrally located on a quiet street just east of Hollywood and west of Silver Lake, with easy access to public transit, subways and hundreds of Twelve Step meetings.
Among our neighbors are Los Angeles City College, Queens Care Medical Clinic, Hollywood Mental Health Clinic and a full spectrum of social service organizations.
Active 12-Step involvement is an integral part of the McIntyre House experience. We are currently seeking drivers who would be willing to help residents attend meetings.
