Description
Homeless Outreach Program Integrated Care System (HOPICS), a Division of Special Service for Groups, is a multi-service agency that strengthens households in Service Planning Area 6 (SPA 6) which includes South Los Angeles, Compton, Lynwood and Paramount. HOPICS has been serving vulnerable men, women, and children since 1988 and has deep roots in the community. We host a comprehensive menu of services that affect multiple pieces of the continuum of care. We are one of the largest housing and homeless service agencies in Los Angeles County and the largest in SPA 6. We serve low-income households with a client-centered “whatever it takes” approach, which is why we are recognized leaders in direct service advocacy for those experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
Mission
HOPICS is dedicated to providing the highest quality innovative social service to South Los Angeles with an emphasis on behavioral health and housing stability.
Vision
To provide the best quality of service to homeless and low-income households in South Los Angeles and surrounding areas and to employ the most qualified staff available and build our services and programs to meet the diverse needs of the community.
