Description
We are a premier provider dedicated to healing children and young adults, strengthening families, and transforming communities through quality comprehensive services and advocacy. We envision a world in which children and young adults, families, and communities are able to heal, grow, and thrive.
Hillsides has five core programs that offer a depth and breadth of innovative services for at-risk children and their families. Our integrated team of experts work together to provide the highest quality care and treatment to achieve positive, lasting change. Our programs are widely known and respected in the child welfare community:
Bienvenidos Foster Care and Adoption provides home-based family care (formerly known as foster care) to help children and youth heal from the effects of trauma. Included in the home-based care are treatment and adoption services for children and youth ranging from newborn to 21 years old.
Hillsides and Bienvenidos Family Resource Centers offer numerous community-based programs and services that provide parenting classes, mental health support, and additional crucial resources for vulnerable children and families throughout Los Angeles County, including the San Gabriel Valley and Pasadena.
HillsidesCares provides comprehensive family support and individual mental health treatment for children and adolescents, ages 6 to 17. This program includes a Residential Treatment Center (RTC), a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as coordinated family and aftercare programming.
Residential Treatment Services provide a safe and stable environment where children and youth in foster care who cannot live at home, suffered trauma, or have severe emotional or behavioral challenges, can thrive.
Youth Moving On, with support from The Everychild Foundation, provides youth formerly in foster care with affordable quality housing and numerous support services to help them become responsible, self-sufficient adults.
