Experience Recovery Detox holds the higher level of detox IMS license. This allows for Incidental Medical Services (IMS) care to support safe and sound detoxification services with on-site medical staff including 24/7 nursing. Under the IMS license Experience Recovery enhances client safety while providing appropriate medical care related to the client’s recovery. IMS allows Experience Recovery to offer quality medical staff on-site and offers a wide menu of medical services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition to coordinated care with affiliated medical providers, Experience Recovery supports a client’s overall comfort and wellness. IMS is a newly available supplemental service provided our Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) license. This is part of the Experience Recovery difference. In Residential Treatment, we continue to emphasize establishing long-lasting recovery. To accomplish this goal, we will combine science-based therapeutic services, nutrition, individual/family psychotherapy, mindfulness, and additional services to achieve a comprehensive and person-centered program.
