From Outpatient services to Residential treatment, at Cielo House we provide the highest quality care for Eating Disorders Treatment customized to match the needs of each of our clients every step of the way. Set up a FREE intake appointment by calling us at 650-455-9242. If you’re not quite ready to commit to the intake we could set up a facility tour instead. During the intake appointment you will meet a member of our clinical team and/or our Clinical Director. If you are coming from a different geographical area we will conduct the intake by phone or Skype. We will do a comprehensive needs assessment with you to help determine what might be the best program. We will explain the program guidelines and logistics, make sure you have a complete understanding of what the program involves and that you are comfortable with your decision.
Treatment Philosophy
The foundation of our treatment philosophy can be best expressed by the phrase, “Meet me where I’m at.” This speaks to the collaborative stance of our treatment, how we truly accept our clients for who they are where they are, and we work with them to get to where they want to be. We approach treatment with a spirit of teamwork among our staff and our clients. We are committed to using treatments that are scientifically proven, and that allow us to track our results. We also use techniques designed to treat more than just the symptoms of the Eating Disorder, but to help the person in all aspects of their life. We strive to cultivate skills that clients can take with them even after they move on from our program. At the heart of our treatment approach is group therapy . We believe that with group therapy the whole is stronger than the sum of its parts, and so much healing takes place in therapy groups.
Levels of Care
Eating Disorders are complex, serious illnesses that often require different levels of care at different times throughout the course of a person’s struggle. Each level of care is designed to provide a different role, depending upon what the person needs at that time. It is common for individuals to transition through the various levels of care, and doing so provides continuity of care, with the treatment approach being able to adapt to the changing conditions of the Eating Disorder. We provide all levels of treatment from outpatient services to IOP, Residential, PHP and transitional living.
