Adolescent Treatment Program
Adolescent Growth is a residential treatment program that specializes in teens. We have an experienced team of professional and caring individuals committed to helping adolescents and their families get well. Our qualified staff is exceptionally gifted at building rapport with adolescents and helping them to implement lasting change. We have treatment facilities located in the greater Southern California area with two of those facilities nestled in the beautiful mountains of the San Fernando Valley. We provide quality adolescent care as demonstrated by our gold seal standing with the Joint Commission. This is the highest level of recognition that can be bestowed upon a treatment facility. We have been accredited since our inception in 2005.
Treatment For Eating Disorders
Adolescent Growth offers the most effective eating disorders programs (residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs “IOP”) to adolescents and their families in crisis. We use comprehensive treatment modalities that are designed to help teenage boys and girls break free of the thoughts and behaviors that stifle them with their mental health problems. We understand that it may be difficult for an adolescent with an eating disorder because they may be aware that the relationship they have with food is not typical. Moreover, they may be cognizant that the dismal cycle of the distorted thoughts and behaviors is spiraling more and more out of control and food, weight reduction and fear are paralyzing them. But the adolescent may be in denial regarding the degree that they are able to manage the eating disorder and their subsequent need for professional help. Eating disorders are complex serious conditions that require immediate assistance from a trained specialist. The expertise of our highly trained multidisciplinary team provides an opportunity for a complete transformation.
Teen Substance Abuse Treatment
At Adolescent Growth males and females 12-17 are invited to begin or continue their recovery with compassion and respect. We realize that oftentimes the journey to seek recovery has not been welcomed. It has included family discord, lies, deceit, and secrets. Sacrifices have involved school, friends, and extracurricular activities. Costs have been paid legally, in reputation areas, and in self worth. Regardless of the journey, restoration, healing and wholeness awaits at Adolescent Growth. We believe that recovery is a process and healing takes time. The road to abstinence from drugs and/or alcohol may appear daunting; however the path to discovering triggers, coping skills and fulfillment is attainable. At Adolescent Growth we also believe that anyone can awake from the nightmare that addiction brings and walk freely in the sunlight of a new day. We are dedicated to providing that opportunity for each family that we serve.
