The San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) offers urgent behavioral health services to those experiencing a crisis. You may call or walk into a center for services. DBH offers a wide variety of substance use disorder recovery services for youth and adults, including outpatient services and residential treatment. View more info about SUDRS services.
Services at DBH and contract provider outpatient mental health clinics may include crisis intervention, assessment/referral, individual/group therapy, medication support, case management, drug/alcohol and educational workshops. View more info about outpatient clinics and services.
DBH and it’s contract providers offer a wide variety of prevention and early intervention services and other specialized behavioral health programs. View more info about other services and supports.
No DBH client or potential client will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. DBH uses a Uniform Method of Determining Ability to Pay (UMDAP) which is a sliding scale of liabilities based on the person’s ability to pay for the costs of behavioral health services provided based on family size, income and assets.
