Learn to “Live” Again
If you, or someone you love, suffers from addiction you know that this potentially fatal illness can wreak havoc on one’s body, mind, and soul, and destroy precious relationships. Deteriorating physical health, family troubles, and legal repercussions are the common consequences that accompany the actions taken by those in addiction’s grip. There is hope! At Sonoma Recovery Services’ Olympia House Program, we work to treat the whole person – mind, body, and spirit – not just the addiction. Our integrated approach is based on the philosophy that treatment isn’t something that happens to you; instead, you are an active participant. Located in the farm belt of western Sonoma County, Olympia House is a 38-bed residential facility, surrounded by more than 140 acres of lush agricultural land. In this serene landscape, Olympia House fosters a home-like atmosphere with individualized treatment, enabling our clients to find freedom from addiction.
Individualized Treatment
No two individuals are exactly alike which is why Olympia House offers a variety of the most cutting edge, evidence based treatments for chemical dependency. Unlike most other recovery centers, we know that everyone is different and that no one approach is adequate. We are proud to offer a wide array of treatment options that allows us to develop individualized treatment plans customized to the needs of each individual. We also value the relationships an individual may have established with their physician, psychotherapist or others and invite their ongoing participation. It is essential that we get to know each client individually by identifying and exploring personal goals, needs, hopes, concerns, and history, together through multiple assessments. From these collaborative sessions, we work with clients to create custom treatment plans that are tailored to each individual, not the reverse. The average length of stay for individuals enrolled in the Olympia House residential program is 28 days. During this time, individuals become actively engaged in working a recovery program that they can then continue after graduating from our care and reentering their lives.
