About Us
The UCSF Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences is composed of programs located at several different geographic sites: Langley Porter Psychiatric Hospital (LPPH) on the UCSF Parnassus campus, Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center, UCSF Medical Center at Mt. Zion, San Francisco Veteran Affairs Medical Center (SFVAMC), and the new UCSF Mission Bay campus. Training is provided by more than 180 full-time faculty members and over 200 volunteer clinical faculty to 600 medical students, 60 general psychiatry residents, 13 psychiatry fellows, and more than 70 pre- and post-doctoral trainees in clinical psychology, social work, nursing, and rehabilitation therapy.
