A Step in the Right Direction provides full-service recovery residences in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. Our homes are luxurious, comfortable, and distraction free, promoting healing and emotional support for those who are new in recovery or attending a partnering Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program. Our homes feature entertainment amenities, gourmet kitchens, high-speed wi-fi internet, and all the amenities of home. A Step in the Right Direction is pet friendly. Our partner programs can provide drug and alcohol detox, individual/family/group counseling, ambulatory detox, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient treatment (IOP). Also available are recommendations to addiction counseling, education, treatment, and ongoing support to clients as they move toward self sufficiency. We work with those struggling with Alcohol Abuse, Drug abuse, Dual-Diagnosis Disorders such as Anxiety, Bi-Polar, Depression, PTSD/Trauma and Co-Dependency. Our programs are highly effective for individuals who have work, school, family, and other commitments that require substance abuse recovery support on a “real-world” basis.

A Step in the Right Direction Sober Living is designed around the needs of the individual. Our program allows the flexibility to attend work, school, or take care of family responsibilities while providing the structure and support of those in early recovery. We work to meet a client’s individual needs with evidence-based methods, preparing them to live successfully and more easily when leaving our program. Our homes are upscale, luxurious residences in quiet neighborhoods. All rooms are single or double occupancy. Our homes feature full gourmet kitchens, well-furnished common areas, recreation rooms, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Large flat-screen TVs are installed in every room and include premium cable channels. High speed wireless internet is available throughout our homes. Vehicle parking and laundry facilities are available on site. Our staff is highly knowledgeable in the process of addiction recovery and is available to support and coach each one of our guests. We offer weekly house meetings, random drug tests, and structured daily schedules. Our staff also has a comprehensive list of local addiction recovery resources available.
