Description
Leader in mental health treatment
Dignity is committed to being a leader of quality mental health residential and outpatient treatment services in Los Angeles. We only treat a handful of clients at at time in order to provide highly personalized treatment with maximum personalized attention. Our luxurious and beautiful home like environment is the backdrop to help our clients get better control of their lives. We can treat most complex mental health disorders and we work with the patient every step of the way to ensure long-term recovery outcomes. We combine our unique clinical approach to treatment with new therapies to ensure long-term recovery and growth. Our goal is to make sure each patient has the tools needed to manage their mental health diagnosis in everyday life once treatment is completed. Patients will establish a strong relationship with their therapist and learn how to change their unhealthy behaviors that can bring about their mental illness symptoms. Our small group setting provides a safe space to recognize and work on relationship and behavior patterns, while identifying and drawing out strengths.
Our treatment approach
As a leader in psychiatric care since our founding, we’ve forged our own approach to treating mental illness that lasts. Our biopsychosocial model is unique, and our outcomes demonstrate its effectiveness. With decades of experience between our physicians and psychologists, we know what works for people with moderate to serious mental illness. Our clients experience holistic treatment designed to uncover core issues that are having a negative effect on their mind, body, relationships and even spiritual life. Addressing these various aspects of life involves multi-layered treatment with an interdisciplinary clinical team. Each member of our team – psychiatrist, psychologist, neurologist, internist, pain management doctor, counselors, and addiction doctor if needed – works together to help a client. Our clients and families complete the team by sharing their own insights, experiences and goals for treatment. We often treat clients who have failed substance abuse treatment programs and finally realize that they have a primary mental health disorder not a primary substance abuse disorder. Once the mental health is correctly treated by us, the substance abuse issues resolve as well.
Correct diagnosis and correct treatment
One of the great benefits of our intensive residential program is that our trained staff is able to obtain a massive amount of observational data by monitoring the behaviors and actions of our clients 24/7. This observational method results in highly accurate diagnoses that can not be obtained in an outpatient setting. A correct diagnosis leads to correct treatment and better long term outcomes. Spending 2-4 weeks in treatment gives our clients time to develop trust in their team, and once their treatment alliance is established, breakthroughs can happen. It also gives our clients time to practice new skills, which builds your self-confidence that you can continue making progress once they discharge. During treatment, we’ll measure the results of our outcomes assessments, which reflect the progress we’re making in reducing your symptoms and enhancing our client’s well-being.
