Serenity Knolls is one of the most highly respected, award-winning 12-Step residential programs in Northern California. Serenity Knolls 30 day residential program provides experienced, caring staff and personalized treatment plans for adults struggling with substance abuse and chemical dependency, as well as certain co-occurring disorders. The comprehensive 12-Step program includes detox, individual therapy once a week, individual counseling on a daily basis, group therapy several times a week, and counseling sessions with the resident’s family. Serenity Knolls is known for their unique extended care program that offers lifetime no-fee aftercare services. The Foundation Program includes weekly meetings, structured guidance and lifelong support for the individual. The Family Program features weekend family programming designed to give family members and friends the education and support they need to understand their loved one’s struggles, as well as their own struggles.
Nestled in the forest on 12 acres in the San Geronimo Valley in Marin County, California, Serenity Knolls provides rustic cabins and fresh mountain air in a peaceful, scenic setting perfect for recovery. Clients can enjoy the surrounding forest, resident wildlife, pool, basketball court, fitness room, and healthy meals. Serenity Knolls does not take insurance as a form of payment but encourages clients to contact their insurance to see if reimbursement is available.
