At Summit Malibu, our treatment program is custom-designed to restore and rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul back to health. Our Detox and Residential treatment programs are lead by our phenomenal team of leading physicians and professionals in the mental health and addiction fields. Upon admission to Summit Malibu, each resident is provided with a full, comprehensive physical examination in order to formulate their individual detoxification treatment plan. Our staff works hand in hand with our resident’s medical team in order to make their detox experience as comfortable as possible. Our Residential Treatment program is meticulously designed with daily educational, therapeutic, and experiential groups geared toward learning about recovery from addiction, and positive mental health. We take great pride in offering a minimum of 4 individual therapy sessions per week to our residents, so they can accelerate their self-awareness and overcome their addictions.

This is a short list of the addictive substances that often require inpatient detox.
Inpatient detox is specifically required for Summit Malibu residents who are using Benzodiazepines or consuming high quantities of alcohol before beginning our residential recovery program. Detox and withdrawal from alcohol and benzos can be extremely dangerous or even deadly if not properly monitored by a trained physician.
